Don't just study.
Think like a doctor.
Doctrios is a medical simulation platform that grades every decision on live physiology. Clerk real patients, order investigations, treat — and live with the outcome. No risk, no judgement.
Excellent reasoning
Trusted by Physicians at Kenya's top medical institutions
Physicians at Kenya's leading public and private medical schools sharpen their skills with Doctrios.
Doctrios is a medical simulation platform
Doctrios is a free medical simulation platform for medical students and physicians, built by Henrios LLC. You clerk a simulated patient — take the history, examine them, order investigations and prescribe treatment — and every decision is scored against a live physiology engine that updates the patient's vital signs in real time. A structured debrief then grades your reasoning pathway against the ideal one.
Unlike a quiz or flashcard app, Doctrios simulates the whole medical encounter: the wrong investigation wastes time and the wrong treatment changes the patient's observations. It runs in any modern browser and on Android, and it is free to start. Doctrios is an educational simulator only — it is not a diagnostic tool and gives no medical advice.
Aligned with global health standards
Doctrios references the World Health Organization's Essential Medicines List and medical guidelines to keep cases grounded in real-world practice.
WHO Essential Medicines
Treatment cases reference the WHO Model List of Essential Medicines, ensuring learners train on internationally recognized standards.
Medical Teamwork
Cases model real medical encounters — from history-taking through diagnosis to definitive management.
Evidence-Based Practice
Every medication, dose, and investigation reflects current medical guidelines and real-world practice.
Practice the full medical journey
From the first question to the final debrief — Doctrios simulates every step of a real patient encounter.
History & Examination
Take a full history and examine simulated patients who respond with realistic symptoms and evolving concerns.
Diagnosis & Reasoning
Commit a differential diagnosis and order investigations that return physiology-accurate results in real time.
From first question to final debrief
A complete medical encounter, simulated in three moves.
Clerk the patient
Take a full history from a simulated patient who answers your questions — with hidden concerns and evolving symptoms.
Decide & act
Examine, commit a differential, order investigations and treat. Every choice feeds a live physiology engine.
Debrief & climb
Get graded on your reasoning pathway versus the ideal — then climb your university and global leaderboards.
Bridge the gap between theory and practice.
Textbooks give you knowledge. Doctrios gives you intuition.
Live physiology engine
Vitals, labs and findings evolve in real time based on the disease — and on what you do about it. Delay, and your patient deteriorates. Intervene well, and watch them stabilise.
Practice clerking
Histories from patients with unique personalities, hidden concerns and complex backgrounds.
Real investigations
Order labs and imaging; the simulator returns physiology-accurate results, not canned answers.
Safe environment
Make mistakes here without judgement — and without ever harming anyone.
Compete & climb
Global and university leaderboards on fully transparent scoring — see how you rank against peers worldwide.
Debrief every case
Every run ends by comparing your pathway to the ideal one — that's where the learning sticks.
Built for Physicians,
by people who get it.
We built Doctrios to solve the problem every Physician faces: you can know the textbook cold and still freeze at the bedside. Reasoning is a skill — and skills need reps.
Our goal is simple: make medical reasoning practice available to every Physician — on any device, wherever they study.

Medical students
Rehearse the wards before the wards. Walk in already knowing how an encounter flows.
OSCE preparation
Timed, structured encounters that mirror exam stations — history to management plan.
Interns & new Physicians
Keep your acute-care reflexes sharp between rotations — deteriorating patients included.
Remote & distance students
No teaching hospital nearby? Doctrios runs in any modern browser and on Android, so you can practice on the phone you already have.
